Safety at Roadway Electric The Roadway Electric safety program is built on 100% employee involvement and a commitment to excellence in safety. We strive for zero job-related injuries and illnesses. Our management team is fully committed to performing work safely and accident free. In order to accomplish these goals, we have developed an aggressive safety program which includes safety policies and procedures that meet, or in most cases exceed, OSHA standards. Employees are trained to plan and work safely, recognize unsafe conditions or acts, and initiate corrective actions. Supervisors at all levels will participate in frequent training to maintain and improve their safety management skills. All new employees are required to participate in an introductory safety orientation. Safety meetings are considered an investment of time and energy for the development of the workforce to avoid further interruption to the schedule or production time. These meetings include daily pre-shift briefings, weekly tool box meetings, and monthly project wide safety meetings.
